As both political parties continue to advocate for and against the Impeachment of President Trump. Is it possible to see a path forward for the Amerian People? In watching the Impeachment Process play out, what I have seen is Democrats and Republicans that are disingenuous. Nowhere has it been more evident than in the House Rules Committee a couple of days ago and again today in the full House Debate on the Articles of Impeachment. It has not been a debate. There has been no back and forth, putting forward arguments and challenging arguments. What there has been, is a never-ending flow of Congressmen and Congresswomen regurgitating the same talking points we have been hearing for the past two months.
No matter the Political Party, they are all a bunch of self-serving, self-aggrandizing and incompetent career politicians. They profess to have the people’s interest at heart but it is evident that is not the case. Their only interest is their political life and the power it brings them. Every single one of them stood seeking that soundbite moment that would propel them into the spotlight. Not necessarily the national spotlight but at the very least the spotlight in their local district newspapers and television broadcasts.
They claim to love the Constitution and the American People but actions speak louder than their words. They have diminished the Constitution for their own political purposes. They have disregarded the American People by creating a gaping divide among the American People. They have treated us as if we are ignorant and unable to think for ourselves. Like lambs being led to the slaughter. I for one am tired of their rhetoric and lack of action on our behalf.
I have long advocated for term limits and will continue to do so. I also advocate for the American People by encouraging all districts and States to self-impose term limits if politicians are not willing to put forward legislation on our behalf to assure term limits. In the next election vote for someone new. Remove from office the cronies who carry so much political baggage they are unable to faithfully act on our behalf. None of those holding office today are able to act for us because they have obligations/debts to other politicians. They have been indoctrinated by the ancient ones and instructed to toe the line and do not upset the applecart. We have a good thing going here and you can be part of it, just don’t step out of bounds. So everything moves forward as it has for decades.
The only way to stop this is through term limits and the country ridding itself of the cronies through the election process. Get Out To Vote!
