Maybe Nancy knows something the rest of us don't but it would appear she is aligning the stars to prepare for the next crisis. A couple of days ago she hosted a G7 Summit of other leaders at her level in governments. At the conclusion of her virtual summit, all participants declared Global Warming or Climate Change is the "existential threat of our times." Laying the groundwork for liberal progressives next assault on our liberties. She knows it is much easier to manipulate, control and mandate actions when the public is in a state of fear.
Climate Change has been pushed for five decades now and what have we seen? According to the alarmists we should have seen miles and miles of coastline consumed by the rising sea levels. Instead we actually have increased the total number of miles of coastline. We were supposed to have seen temperatures rise by several degrees. Instead at most the temperature over the last 150 years has risen by 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit. We were to have seen more tornadoes and hurricanes but the numbers have remained constant for over a hundred years. They will point to the raging fires in the west as a result of Climate Change but statistics show 9 of 10 wildfires are caused by humans. They claim the ice is melting rapidly at the North Pole but photographs and statements from people who were their in the late 50's and early 60's indicate the North Pole was free of ice in the summers. Meanwhile at the South Pole the ice cap is growing in size. There is almost nothing they have been saying for 50 years that has come about.
However, these intellectual elitists continue to push their agenda onto the public all in an effort to exercise more control. They talk about wealth distribution being needed because too few have an equal share of the wealth. But look at every country that has ever tried to distribute wealth and what do you see? The intellectual elitists behind the scheme become wealthy while all of the working class lose what little wealth they had. How is that any better than the Capitalist System we currently have? At least under the current system there is some opportunity to better ones self. My parents worked hard to ensure their children had every opportunity to live better than they did. I believe they accomplished that goal but sometimes I wonder, with everything I have am I really better off than my parents? Their live was so much simpler before the advent of television and cell phones. When people look after one another rather than shot them on sight because they wanted the new shoes they were wearing. What happened to respect for your elders rather than sneaking up behind them and knocking them in the head just to get a laugh and impress some other no good delinquent? How does that make you a better person?
Is this the world we want to live in? Because it is exactly the world the liberal progressive left would have us live in. A world in chaos. Why? Because there is nothing humans cherish more than their freedom and liberty except order. And has been demonstrated throughout the current crisis, we are willing to follow our leaders down any path as long as we believe it leads away from chaos and towards order. Even if we have to give up our freedom and liberty.
