While watching the latest Presidential Debate, something struck me. First, it was the statement by Biden, "We're about to go into a dark winter. A dark winter." Later in the debate, when speaking to the topic of climate change, Biden said, "we're going to pass the point of no return within the next 8 to 10 years." These two statements, coupled with all of the gloom and doom statements about the Coronavirus, brought me to the realization the Democratic Party is the Party of gloom and doom, and they have been for a very long time.
They are not upbeat about anything in this campaign season. Everything they have to say is negative. Negative about the Coronavirus's outlook, negative about the outlook for climate change, negative about the President, negative about the economy, negative about jobs, and negative about the United States as a nation. We are in dire trouble, and we can only be saved if we elect democrat politicians to lead us.
Look around, however, it is the democrat lead cities, and states are the ones suffering the most. Democrat-run cities have had the worst outcomes with the Coronavirus. Democrat-run cities have had the worst destruction from the riots and protests. Democrat-run cities and states have the largest deficits and the highest taxes. This is too much to be just a coincidence. It must be something more systemic. Perhaps the policies implemented by the Democrats themselves. Or their incompetence.
It has always been the Democrat attitude of "we know what is best for everybody" that has turned me off to most democrats. They act as though individually, we are incapable of making the decisions that best fit our circumstances. Instead, they have to make one decision for all. It doesn't matter your circumstances or where you live, or how you make a living. They are going to make a decision that is best for all situations. Most people recognize this a totalitarianism.
I am hoping and praying we all make the right decision this November 3rd.
