We have all known for sometime Social Media censors political comment that does not align with their view of the world. What I did not realize is they also censor science that does not align with their perspective. This week, a group of doctors from America's Frontline Doctors held a live press briefing in Washington, DC. Over 185,000 viewers on Facebook were concurrently viewing the briefing. Suddenly Facebook decided to take the video down after it had been viewed over 17 million times, stating it contained false information, information previously debunked by WHO.
If you watch the video here, you will see the doctors relate their personal experience treating patients with COVID-19. How is this false information? Since when are dissenting views false information. I thought that only occurred in George Orwell's 1984 or Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451. I must be naive.
I wrote a post earlier this week for End America's Lockdown, where I talk about why I believe there is a significant push to keep the fear and panic surrounding COVID-19 alive. As I state there, recognition COVID-19 is no worse than the flu would kill the cash cow big pharma, institutions, universities, and the scientific/medical community have tapped. Governments worldwide are throwing money at them to find ways to control, mitigate, and vaccinate. The worst part is when they do find a vaccine, even though the research was paid for with taxpayer dollars, the individual or company finding the vaccine gets to patent it and charge outrageously to produce and deliver the vaccine.
Perhaps this is what you get when you have a free society. Everyone can disregard any ethical or moral conscience they may have and pursue financial and political gain no matter the injury they cause to others or society. How did we get to this point? Have we no moral compass to guide us? It seems not.
